A Deathly Sight

Jasmine whimpered, her breathing constant. She finally opened her eyes, able to see clearer than before. But what she saw wasn't her new friends, what she saw was the river and the trees. A tear fell across her muzzle, stopping on it's bridge.

She was alone, and near death. She was cold. The night was beginning, and death was so close she could feel it. She couldn't even move to warm herself better; She was dying.

Jasmine began losing her eyesight, but managed to see a rabbit pass by. She whimpered, hoping to live; That's all she could do.

Moon stalked back to the river where he first met Twilght. as he walkwed he held his head low and let his tail drag on the ground. He didn't know how he would ever get rid of the pain he felt in his heart.

While he was walking a familer scent filled his nose. he perked up a little and thought jasmine, its been a while since i last seen her i wonder how she is doing. He ran towards her scent abd quckly found found her. but was filled with horror when he saw the condtion she was in.

"Jasmine?" he called to her. he walked over to her layed down beside her.

Twilight rushed through the undergrowth around the Riverbank, and finally piced up Jasmine's scent. She followed it until she came to Jasmin, she was instantly horror-struck at what she saw. She ran over, her ears close to her head. "Jasmine... I'm so sorry..." she said, a tear rolling down her cheek. She saw Moon beside Jasmine, and Twilight lay down on the other side, trying to keep her warm in the cool air.

Jasmine had her eyes shut as the others came to her, but she could feel their warmth against her sides. She could hardly speak, but tried her best to talk. "M-Moon, Twi-Twilight.. How have you two b-been?" She asked, trying to keep a good laugh although she was heartbroken and near death.

A tear fell from her muzzle, and her breath became heavy; Her body was becoming colder and colder, but got a burst of warmth from the two. "I-I missed you g-guys.." She said, closing her eyes from exhaustion.

Kamen arrived following Twilight, and saw Jasmine laying on the ground with Moon and Twilight at her sides. "What happened here?" He asked, walking over to Jasmine and sitting infront of her.

"Who's this? And why is she injured so badly?" He asked, he had so many questions he couldn't help but ask a few.

Twilight's heart clenched when Jasmine spoke. Twilight rested her head on Jasmine's. "Sshh, don't talk. Please. You need to save your energy." A lone tear fell, landing on Jasmine's head. She turned to Kamen, "She was attacked by a rouge wolf," she explained to him.

Moon looked up at Kamen" when she first was attacked we came to help but then........ we got dragged into other things, now look at her....... this is my fault i should have never left her side when she needed it the most"

Twilight put her head down, "Its my fault also. I don't know how I could have left her like this."

Little Bird was lost. With no clue how close she was to others she nodded her head, allowing whatever scents there were drift to her nose. One ear up an the other down she lowered her head and walked to the riverbank. She heard a few wolves talking... "Maybe they can help me" she thought. She went closer so she could see them. One individual was hurt badly. the other three were trying to help. She went a bit closer and sat, then layed down. They would protect this hurt wolf, and she was in no position to be a threat to those bigger than she.. She waited and watched.
